7 Things I Cannot Live Without This Week

Here is an unfiltered (and not sponsored) list of items that I cannot live without this week (or, honestly, ever).

AmandaRachLee Journal

I am obsessive about to-do lists and this journal is the perfect place to store all my thoughts and tasks and problems. It’s the perfect size to fit in my purse, the dot grid pages allow me to work anyway I please, and the pages are thick enough that I can pull out some paint and it doesn’t bleed.

Unilever Pen

This felt tip pen was found at Target accidentally. The colors in this 3-pack were what drew me to it. They are a little bit pricey so I ended up putting them back on the shelf only to find that my husband picked them back up and put them in the cart for me. A perfect gift for me.

Google Earbuds

I love my over-ear Skullcandy headphones. However, they attract my daughter so I cannot get work done while wearing them if she is in the room. A few months back I picked up the Google Pixel Buds and I cannot live without them. They fit in my ear, they have some sound-canceling effects, and my daughter has no idea that I am wearing them.

Electric Kettle

I love tea. And cocoa. And hot cider. And our electric kettle is keeping me stocked with hot water anytime I need it.

String Cheese

Random? Sure. But the perfect snack for both me and River any time we are hungry. Since there is a 97% chance that if I get one for me she will also want some. This is the perfect thing to eat where I don’t have to worry about her eating junk food.

Silk Scrunchies

My hair is long. It is in my face all the time. A silk scrunchie keeps my hair pulled back so I can be the busy work-from-home-and-mom that I am. It keeps my hair from breaking and falling out the way that other hair bands tend to. Added bonus – my daughter’s hair is still too fine for the scrunchie so I don’t have to worry about sharing with her (my husband is a whole other story).

Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

This face wash is the ultimate pick-me-up. I feel so pampered and taken care of anytime I use it. This was a splurge purchase originally but now that I know how much I love it I consider it a necessity. My skin feels fresh and clean. It smells like rose water which screams luxury (even if it isn’t). And it does not dry my skin out like so many other cleansers.
